Of these (19) Sprague 191P Vitamin Q Capacitors, six (6) are New-Old Stock with the 2” extended axial leads; and thirteen (13) are Pulls with slightly shortened leads.  They have all been tested with capacitance well within the stated +/- 10% tolerance, with minimal-to-no leakage detected.  Below are the actual results obtained:

These are some of the most sought-after vintage capacitors because of the proprietary ‘Vitamin Q’ Oil that Sprague used.  And the 191P’s are as good as they get -- their sound is nice and articulate, smooth and creamy, and as true in their performance today as they were when originally manufactured in the late 1950’s thru the early 1980’s.
All Vitamin Q types exceed performance requirements of MIL SPEC-C25A.  The 191P’s are constructed of pure aluminum foil, kraft paper impregnated with proprietary Vitamin Q Oil, and Film.  In addition, the 191P Vitamin Q types have extended foil construction and have hermetically sealed glass-to-metal terminals, with a -55° C to +85° C Operating Temp Range.  These units also have the
