    Russian Military Paper in Oil (PIO) capacitor

    The K40Y-9 are high quality PIO capacitors the conductor is made of aluminum foil and the dielectric is oil saturated paper, glass sealed in a metal body.
    These capacitors provide excellent sonic characteristics and make great  tone capacitors for guitars.
    .047 is a good value for many Strats and Tele's, guitars w/P90's or the bridge pick-up of Humbucker guitar like Les Paul's, Epiphones or other Gibson-style guitars.
    These are easy to install, two solder points.  A quick, easy, and inexpensive upgrade to your tone.
    These caps are not unlike a new speaker and will sound there best after being broken in for several hours.
