This is the original Polyvaricon which used on
Tivoli Audio Model one/two/three
. Tivoli audio got good reputation because of its good FM/AM sound quality and old skool style.
However, the tuner got issue after few years using. Normally, it got hiss when tuning and its hard to pick up a clear station. The reason is that after exposing in some moisture environment, the capacitor rusted/polluted, the length between capacitor layers changed.
Unsoldering the old one and change with this new one, then your Tivoli Audio get reborn.
